Finescale Pressure Gauges
| EFC High Resolution Finescale Gauges (FSG) gives instant indication of choke, kill and standpipe pressure trends, with a resolution far in excess of the traditional hydraulic Casing and Standpipe pressure gauges found in every Choke Control Panel.

FSG sets have proved their worth during many well control incidents worldwide, allowing the key operating people to control kicks effectively by displaying very small scale pressure changes in the Choke & Kill and Standpipe Manifolds. As pressure rises, each gauge pointer moves simultaneously, each gauge displaying the same pressure. When pressure rises past the 1,000 and 5,000 psi thresholds, no manual isolation of sensors and gauges is required, there is no damage to gauges or sensors. A second pressure sensor can be mounted on the Kill side of the manifold and the presssure displayed on the same 3 gauges, a sensor select switch allowing the operator to display either Choke-side pressures or Kill-side pressures. A third pressure sensor can be mounted on the Standpipe manifold. The pressure is displayed on additional gauges scaled 0-1,000psi and 0-5,000psi. These gauges function in the same way as the 3 Choke & Kill Manifold gauges. Additional ‘slave’ FSG sets can be added to display pressures on the manifolds. Downloads |
