EFC Well Control Instrumentation (WCI) has been provided to the global offshore drilling industry for more than 15 years and has proved its worth on numerous occasions during well control incidents. The full range of WCI can be included in our Choke Control design. - Liquid Seal Monitor A typical CC11 Control Panel is for a single choke. This typically includes: - Choke Position Indicator, The CC22 Choke Control Panel is for a dual remote choke. The specification would be inline with CC11 component listing.
The CC66 Advanced Choke Control is an integrated PLC based system utilising a proprietary stainless steel cabinet to house the Choke & Valve control panel. This displays essential information in the drill cabin. Mounted on the Choke Manifold skid is a direct reading gauge panel and a hydraulic panel which controls the choke actuators. The signals generated by the field sensors are, after suitable isolation, connected to the operator panel for viewing and control purposes. A direct hydraulic link is used to drive the Choke Manifold gauge panel. Please refer to datasheet for component listing. All EFC Choke Control panels can be designed & constructed to operated in Zone 1 or 2 hazardous areas as well as Safe Area operation. API 16C is typical design standard applied.
