Electro-Flow Controls Choke Control panels and consoles have a proven track record, demonstrating reliable design and high quality manufacture.

EFC Electric and Hydraulic Choke manifold controls can be categorised in the following way:

Single/Double choke operation with an open, mild steel painted frame, this is a typical design suitable for land rig operations

Single/Double choke operation with 316L stainless steel fully enclosed console with doors and complete with lid if applicable. Typically this panel type is utilised in the salt-laden offshore environment

Single/Double wall mounted choke display and control panel with a separate HPU (Hydraulic Power Unit), ideal for maximising the valuable space within the driller’s cabin.

Double choke operation, all electric console and relevant EExi’a’ certification and PLC permits data networking

EFC Well Control Instrumentation (WCI) has been provided to the global offshore drilling industry for more than 15 years and has proved its worth on numerous occasions during well control incidents. The full range of WCI can be included in our Choke Control design.

A typical CC11 Control Panel is for a single choke. This typically includes:

-   Choke Position Indicator,
-   Casing Pressure Gauge
-   Drillpipe Pressure Gauge
-   Choke Open/Close Control
-   Air Pressure Gaug
-   Hydraulic Pressure Gauge
-   Fluid Reservoir
-   Air-over-hydraulic Pump and a back-up
-   Hand Pump Emergency.
-   Hose set for pressure signal, choke control, air signal, air supply c/w quick disconnects if required.

The CC22 Choke Control Panel is for a dual remote choke. The specification would be inline with CC11 component listing.
Options available for both CC11 & CC22 are:

The CC66 Advanced Choke Control is an integrated PLC based system utilising a proprietary stainless steel cabinet to house the Choke & Valve control panel. This displays essential information in the drill cabin. Mounted on the Choke Manifold skid is a direct reading gauge panel and a hydraulic panel which controls the choke actuators.

The signals generated by the field sensors are, after suitable isolation, connected to the operator panel for viewing and control purposes. A direct hydraulic link is used to drive the Choke Manifold gauge panel. Please refer to datasheet for component listing.

All EFC Choke Control panels can be designed & constructed to operated in Zone 1 or 2 hazardous areas as well as Safe Area operation. API 16C is typical design standard applied.
