Jennifer Brown, 21, from Fraserburgh, officially received her honours degree at yesterday’s ceremony and has already secured herself a full-time job.

Ms Brown, who now lives in Aberdeen, said: “While I didn’t study business at school, I was interested in management and working in a corporate environment.

“The course at RGU was particularly appealing due to the placement year offered in third year.

“Overall, I have thoroughly enjoyed my course. The range of modules I have studied has meant that I have left with a broad understanding of business and management concepts while also being able to specialise in the area of marketing.”

Ms Brown graduated with a first – an achievement she described as the highlight of her education at Aberdeen Business School.

She has also secured herself a job as a logistics representative at EFC Group’s Altens headquarters, where she was based during her placement year.

On her time at RGU, she added: “The experience has been invaluable to me, both professionally and personally.

“While it has at times been challenging, I have found it very rewarding.”
